Scratch-Resistant Labels for all Sectors and Products
Scratch-resistant labels are particularly suitable for products that require additional protection against abrasion. Classic paper labels are usually quite unsuitable for products in the beverage, industrial, cosmetics or chemical sectors, where stress is high. We therefore recommend scratch-resistant labels.
The Advantages of Scratch-Resistant Labels at a Glance:
- abrasion-resistant
- tear-resistant
- permanently legible
- oil and moisture resistant
- strong and permanent adhesion
- versatile in use
How Do You Make the Labels Scratch-Resistant?
We always recommend a tear-resistant polypropylene film as a base for scratch-resistant labels, because film labels are inherently tough and resistant to moisture and oil. To optimally protect the label surface against abrasion, we recommend applying a so-called film laminate, i.e. an additional film that is applied to the label and thus protects it not only from abrasion, but also from moisture and oil. On etiqueta.es you can get the film in matt and glossy. In addition to the “normal” films, we also offer a particularly scratch-resistant film. We will be happy to advise you personally about the recommended areas of application and the durability of the various films. Just get in touch with us – we will be happy to help you!
Please note: Just because they are scratch-resistant does not mean that the labels can withstand deliberate damage with fingernails or other tools. The film lamination protects the label from abrasion and scratches that occur in daily use of the respective products, but not from deliberate damage.
Abrasion-Resistant Labels in Roll or Sheet Form
At etiqueta.es you have a choice: as a professional label manufacturer, we print your labels both on rolls and on A4 sheets. Both production variants are suitable for different areas of application: A4 sheet production is particularly suitable for manual processing, as sheet labels cannot be processed by machine. Another advantage is that sheet-fed printing can be particularly cost-effective for short runs. Roll production is an option if you want to process the labels mechanically, i.e. apply them to the product with a machine. Of course, roll labels can also be applied to the product by hand.
