Meet the team: Florian

Who are you? Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m Florian from the online marketing team. What defines me? It’s a difficult question, but I would say I’m a cheerful person, with a good sense of humor and who likes to have fun.

What has your professional career been like so far?

At the age of 18, I was not sure what career path I wanted to follow, so I decided to do an internship in the retail sector as a salesperson. After the internship, I continued working there for another year.

My next job was in the sales department of a wholesale company. During that time, I became very interested in marketing, especially in the area of social media.

At the same time, I took courses in business administration, social media marketing management and online marketing management. After two years as a sales representative, I joined etiqueta.es.

How did you find your way to etiqueta.es?

The path to etiqueta.es was fairly straightforward. When I realized that my previous job was not the right fit for me, I found a job offer as a customer advisor at etiqueta.es. The company’s young and dynamic online presence motivated me to apply.

What is your role at etiqueta.es, and what does your daily work look like?

After having the opportunity to move from customer service to online marketing, focusing on social media, “my dream job”, I am now responsible for the social media channels of etiqueta.es and its satellite stores.

My daily tasks include creating and analyzing content for different platforms. I also work on projects such as our new recruitment video.

What makes your job special?

The best thing about my job is the creativity. Creating content is not always easy, but I love finding interesting topics, implementing new ideas and producing engaging posts or videos.

I really appreciate that, unlike many other companies, etiqueta.es has decided to hire a full-time social media manager and takes this function very seriously. It’s not always a sure thing, but in my opinion it’s absolutely crucial.

What makes etiqueta.es a great employer?

In short: I love my work environment. I really enjoy coming to work every day because it’s fun. I really identify with the company and its corporate culture.

I also think it’s great that etiqueta.es not only offers professional development opportunities, as my own career within the company demonstrates, but also actively supports employees with training programs – oh, and the company parties are always great too!

What has been your highlight at etiqueta.es so far?

Company parties are always a lot of fun. However, other than that, I’ve really enjoyed creating videos and posts for social media. We are currently working on a series of fun and educational short videos about labels and everything related to them. They will be released later this year.
