Labels with High Quality Finishing
Add a Finishing Touch to Your Labels
Hot Foil
Hot foil stamping is a process by which a foil is applied by heat to paper or PP. You may decide to apply hot foil to some text or elements of your designs to increase their brilliance, intensity and shine. A tool specially made for your embossed label allows unlimited design possibilities. No matter if font, surface or image contour: hot foil makes the label a great eye-catcher, so you can clearly stand out from the competition.
Lamination
Do your labels need special protection or a special gloss? This is where film lamination comes into play. This finish is an alternative to protective varnish and consists of a transparent film, which can be glossy or matt, that overlaps the entire label surface and prevents any external agent from coming into contact with the print. Lamination cannot be combined with embossing or uncoated papers.
Protective Varnish
Protective varnish is a finish that is applied to your labels after printing and before cutting. This varnish is a protective coating that is applied to the label to protect it against mechanical damage and scratches. If you need a partial varnish, please contact us.
Blind Embossing
Blind embossing is a finish that works similarly to hot stamping. A custom-made tool must be produced to give specific portions of graphics a three-dimensional raised effect. By using the embossing process, you can also produce braille labels.
Embossing can be used alone, in combination with four-colour printing or in combination with hot stamping (relief embossing). Both of these finishes can only be applied to labels on reels and not to labels on A4 sheets. Contact us for more information.
Relief Embossing
Embossing is considered the queen of refinements: thanks to a combination of blind embossing and hot foil stamping, the elements create a 3D effect to specific parts of your design, making your label unique and attractive! The embossing process only works on paper and not on film. Please note that embossing can be used alone, in combination with CMYK printing or in combination with hot foil stamping. Both finishes can only be applied to labels on rolls and not to labels on A4 sheets. Please contact us for more information.
Digital Spot Varnish
